White Buffalo

The spirit of white buffalo roams in
freedom over the plains of my spirit.
Guided with instinct by our ancestors
above. He plows great furrows across my
heart with heavy hooves. Turning the sodden
soil of my past into fluffy turf, ready to
nurture the sprouts of connection to all
living things. He sees through the low mist
clinging to his path with stern eyes of
determination. Reflecting the destination
ahead and the journey within. Snows of
doubt are pushed aside by his great horns
and melted to watery slush by the steam of
passion from his great black snout. In his
moment of triumph, when he reaches the
green, succulent pastures and rebirth of my
spirit, he weeps. Tears for the lost ones
that could not see the truth of his healing
spirit, lay broken and dead on the trail of his past.

Happiness, her hair, her smile
Beauty, roses for a mile

Smile, turning night to light
Kiss, my heart gives up the fight

Eyes, the scene of utter love
Peace, purer than the whitest dove

Faith, in his grace we are one
Joy, each moment spent in greater fun

Hugs, the warmth of sharing
Voice, tender songs of caring

Care, has calmed my raging storm
Love, I have found it's truest form

Para ti Sugeiy

A beautiful day has dawned in my life
The warm sun caressing a cloudless sky
An experience of love with no pain or strife
Her caring spirit stirs a twinkle in my eye

People roam soft sand on the beach below
Gentle foam laps the feet of happy children
Shells are collected like memories in my soul
Snapshots gained for a future of grins

My spirit howls like a dog on a door
A window is opened and two become one
Fishes dance above a cold floor
She filled my heart with the joy of her sun

New friends are met and old ones embraced
A soft mutt and sweet treasures are found
Tired feet cherish a happy new place
So sweet is the moment, I may become round

Gripped by the hugs of a big happy bear,
her face glows in fading, orange light
A lone bird watches with not even a care
I will love her always, with all of my might

Summer Day

A summer day warms me
Busy little ants running
Hot wind helping a bee
Black dog and brown cat sunning

Sunny music is in the air
New flowers waiting to bloom
So much joy in a day so fair
My only fear it will end to soon

A hug from a friend is missed
Thoughts of a beach are pondered
A future crashing through mist
Could such beauty ever be wondered

Jumping spider stalks its prey
Green leaves on dead trees
So wonderful I can not say
She needs a hug a gentle squeeze

Raptors soaring with the sun
Ice crystals in a sea of blue
My life with her has just begun
The joyful thoughts of something new

The Dance

The music flows through me and my spirit floats
like a leaf in the wind. Guided gently by the
rhythms of a soft breeze. Moved as a puppet on
a string, the tunes caress my soul and I am
lost in a moment of beauty. I take her in my
arms and our bodies move as one. Her tender
voice and kind words singing in my ears. We
sway to the beat, moving quicker with the
tempo. Then as our song fades to an end, we
embrace. Knowing the truth, that our dance
together has just begun.

Time

Where does it go?
When I was young there was too much.
Now I am older and there's not enough.
How will I do all that I want with the clock
always biting at my heels?
Minutes to hours, hours to days, days to weeks,
weeks to months, months to years, years to
decades. Aaaahhhhhh, when will I rest?
When I am dead, I suppose.
